Its hard not not to feel just a little bit smug watching the flickering flames of a wonderful gas fire as you are tucked up on the sofa ready for a Netflix bonanza in complete harmony with your surroundings.

Installation

Having a fire doesn't have to be an energy extravagance that is difficult to justify either. Whereas an open fronted gas fire has an energy efficiency of up to 74%, some of the latest glass fronted versions have an efficiency of almost 90%. This is without considering flueless fires that are even higher.

Manufacturers like Flavel, Valor, Eko, Crystal and Stovax offer exceptional appliances for all styles and tastes. This is not an exhaustive list by any means, but it does give you an idea of what is available.

So you see, there are energy efficient options out there that won't have Extinction Rebellion blocking your driveway.

Servicing

Gas fires take in large amounts of air over their lifetimes and heat that air over a burner. With air comes dust and debris, so it is important that a fire like any other gas appliance is regularly cleaned and serviced. Valmac can help with that.

Repair

Gas fires aren't a complicated appliance but on occasion, they do still go wrong. As long as parts are still available, we can repair your fire to get you back up and running again. If spares aren't available, we will be delighted to help you pick a new one!
